World Expo 2015 Milan Pavilion Now in Baku

The Azerbaijan national pavilion from World Expo 2015 Milan has been reassembled and installed in the Seaside National Park in Baku. It was officially opened to the public in October.

More than 3 million people visited Azerbaijan’s national pavilion, “Treasure of Biodiversity and Flowers,” during World Expo 2015 in Milan. Described as ‘absolutely magnificent,’ the pavilion was awarded in the “Best Design and Materials” category. Azerbaijan has participated in World Expo since Hanover 2000 and has won many awards for its pavilions, including a silver at Expo 2017 Astana.

Opening the Milan 2015 pavilion in Baku, where visitor numbers are growing 20% annually, will increase awareness of the World Expo movement and add to Milan’s legacy. Azerbaijan is currently bidding to host World Expo 2025 in its capital, Baku, under the theme, Developing Human Capital, Building a Better Future.
